    built in 1905, is a two-and-a-half story, wood-frame, composite house. The house resembles a cube, with various extensions and additions to the sides and rear. The roof is hipped, with triangular dormers on the sides. A one-story, screened-in porch extends across the main facade and around the south side. Siding is clapboard and the windows are single and paired, and are wood with double-hung sash

Charles Harvey Bradley, Jr. (20 April 1899, Dubuque, Iowa - 1 September 1972,) was the son of a cigar manufacturer. He was fitted at the Phillips Academy in Andover, and graduated from Yale with an AB in 1917. Upon graduation he was enlisted as a private in the United States Marine Corps, although he didn't fight World War I. He received his discharge in 1918, and returned to Yale, graduating in 1921 with a law degree. He was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon and Skull and Bones.

Late in 1921 Bradley located in Indianapolis, where he joined the Fletcher Trust Co. During this time he was also a cashier with the 16th St. State Bank. He left work in 1924, returning in 1927 to become Secretary-Treasurer of W.J. Holliday & Co. In 1932 he became President of that company, a position which he held until 1955. At this time, the company was acquired by the Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation of Pittsburgh. From 1951 to 1955 he served as President of the Monarch Steel Co. Bradley served as Chairman of the Advisory Board in the warehouse division from 1955 to 1960. He became President of the Shorewood Corporation in 1960, but left in 1962 to become Chairman of the Executive Committee and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of P.R. Mallory & Co., Inc. In 1964 he was Chairman of the Board of this company. He retired from business in 1968.

During his career, he was also a director of P.R. Mallory International, the Ransburg Electrocoating Corporation, the Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation, the National Bank of Indiana, Bell Telephone Company and the Indian Gas Company. Bradley was a former President of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

He was a member of the Columbia Club of Indianapolis and the Woodstock Club of Indianapolis.
