Ralph E & Barbara A. Winters - Vacant lots ? - Aug. 1998 - Angela Davis Aug. 1998 - May 1999 - William C. Rhodes May 1999 - 2009 - SEMLER JERRY D & Rosemary R. Semler Sep 2003 - 2005 (non-lakefront) During the 1960's and up till this house was moved over here c. 1999. Up iuntil this time these were an empty lots. During the 1960's this area of South Plymouth Street was prone to consant flooding and these two lots were constantly soggy. There were a couple of old big trees in it. The neighborhood people had a path wore across the lots as such from the north corner of the property at Madison & the alley to the south corner on Plymouth & Clover. I called the "circle or square" for years this had been just a swampy vacant lotto the south it is bounded by Clover St. to the North Marmont Street and to the east by South Plymouth Street - the west boundary is the alley. This house formerly sat at 314 S. Plymouth across the street on the lakefront side and in 1964 William Hampton owned it and later Charles or William Rhodes Rhodes purchased the property. ![]() The dot to the right reflects about where the house use to sit on this lot. The dot on the left represents where it sits today after it was moved. Up till this point this area was just empty lots. Today this is what the house looks like on its noew lots. ![]() ![]() DESC: LOT 5 CROMLEYS ADD LEGAL DESC: LOT 5 CROMLEYS ADD |
