Names of Cottages Over the Years
Some of these cottages are known as to location and some are not as yet.
Hopefully all the identities and locations of the cottages will be known and can
be placed in the list of cottages and owners also - some have already.
They are also listed here as well. These Cottages were listed as being on the
lake in the 1881 history and gleaned from other sources also
There are post cards and other things concerning the cottages as I fine tune the
pages will add these items also to the pages within the site.

It is stated this was near where the Culver Inn stood - a clue has been finally given that it indeed may have actually been
on the Culver Inn property - the 75 year Column of Feb 15, 1933 states: In order t improve the facilities available to visitors
and guests of the Academy, the Club House is being nmoved to the lakes shore alongside the Maxinkuckee In.. There the the structure
will be remodeled to provide 16 rooms, all with bath and well furnished. The new building will be placed 75 feet southwest of the inn
property; in order to make room for the new Annex the TWO FRAME COTTAGES next to the inn are being torn down and the area will be
cleared away and a basement built.
it is said not to have been to far from the Maxinkuckee Inn.
