Robert Cynthia (Mays) Ashcraft Robert A. Ashcraft Was born 27 Aug. 1832 Coshocton or Muskingham county, Ohio d. 13 Jan. 1906 Greene county, Indiana he was the son of ELijah and Elizabeth (Hardesty) Ashcraft. His parents were Daniel Aschraft & Elizabeth (Shuman) Ashcraft and his uncle was Jesse Ashcraft. He married 24 Nov 1821 Coshocton, Ohio Cynthia Anne Mays was born 7 Apr. 1830 Rush county Tennessee and died 20 St. 1912 near Koleen, Greene, Indiana she was the daughter of Christopher and Mary E. (Haywood) Mays He served in Co. C, 43rd Indiana Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War |
