Jesse & Mary Ann (Chaney) Ashcraft Jesse Ashcraft was born 3 April 1799 Fayette county Pennsylvania d. 31 Jul 1871 Blandenburg, Ohio.  Mary Ann Chaney was born 30 Mar. 1805 near Baltimore, Maryland and died 1864 she was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (O'Conner)" Chaney. They married on 16 September 1824 Knox county, Ohio. Their children Rachel who married James Fancis Page, Lewis married Malvina Harshfield and Martin who married Margaret Allen came to Greene county Indiana and settled. Other children were: Joseph, Jacob, Simon, and Julia Ann. |
