Our facility is in the oldest brick house in Greene County,(the restored 1836 Benjamin Shumaker house) and we are members of the board of the Greene County Historical Society. Memberships are also maintained in the Linton-Stockton, Jasonville, and Worthington Chambers of Commerce.

Geneological lookups are happily conducted, free of charge, during volunteer hours Tuesdays and Thursdays at the GC Historical Society. We also have access to the complete digest of Greene County burial grounds, dating back to the congress patents of 1816.
