Incomplete Deed Indexes for Books A to ? & 1 - ??

This will be a work in progress. I DO NOT HAVE on hand microfiche or microfilm, of of deeds and other real estate records of Greene county, SORRY. I had hoped that I could of eventually find where to purchased some of these if they had been microfilmed and put on fiche - but thus far that was been on the wish list since 1988. If you have a transcribed deed to share I would welcome it or even a just a reference to a deed such as: grantor to grantee Bk. and Pg. this would help build the indexes and allow someone to send for a deed that they may need for their records. I would apreciate a date each book covers if at all possible.

Information about land survey, land offices and other available records for land transcations of various kinds in Greene county and be found at the above link. There could be other records that the WPA Inventory of 1939 did not list or were established after that date.

This page will provide an alphabetical list and a individuasl book listing to deeds of Greene County. From these Indexes I will eventualy deeds I have on hand and those e-mailed me in the future.

If given I will list the clarity of the deed - precentage unreadable, readable or faded; It will help if you state if your transcription was form actal book, photocopy or microfilm or microfiche. Thus this index as of now is a working copy.
