At a meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Greene Co. at the house of Thomas Bradford on 14 May, 1822 – present were Thomas Plummer, David Deem & Jonathan Lindley. On motion of Ira Walker & Eli Dixson, administrators of George Jamison dec’d together with the purchasers of lots in the town of Cincinnati laid out by Ira Walker & George Jamison in Highland twp., Greene co. represented that it is to the interest of the heirs of said Jamison together with the purchasers to VACATE said town as it does not appear to be in a state of population for there is no joint article in writing for the selling or going on with said town, and it does not lie in the power of administrators to sell or to make rights to said lots.
